Diabetes and Oral Health: Take a bite out of diabetes
This professional development seminar will run from 9.00am – 12.30pm.
This event is free but there is a limit of 30 participants.
A light lunch will be provided.
The aim is to update diabetes educator’s knowledge of oral health complications and identify management strategies and referral pathways.
Presenters are:
- Dr Jane McCarthy – Peridontist, BDS (Hons) MDSc (Perio) – “Diabetes, Oral Health Complications and Management”
- Wendy Wright – Dental Hygienist – “Achieving and mainating oral health” or “Effective oral hygiene: Tools and techniques”
